            The Herzl Center for Israeli Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University
            collaboration with the Prague Center for Jewish Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles Un

            is offering two scholarships of 50,000 CZK each for a professional internship in Israel fo
            interested in gaining academic experience in the country. This offer is open to students o
            University from the 3rd year of undergraduate studies to the 3rd year of doctoral studies.

            Supported thematic areas:
            • Israeli politics

            • Israeli society
            • International relations
            • Security

            • History
            • Culture
            • Literature

            • Religion
            Supported types of projects:
            • Field research related to the preparation of a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral thesis,

            article.
            • Participation in educational activities in Israel (e.g., study stay at an academic insti
            course).

            • Stay in a library related to research for a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral thesis, or
            article.
             

            Required documents:
            • Project description in English explaining the academic benefits of the stay in Israel, i
            breakdown of planned expenses (max. 2 pages).

            • Structured CV in English (max. 2 pages). 
            • A letter of recommendation in Czech or English from the supervisor, sent directly to
            herzlcenter@fsv.cuni.cz [ URL "mailto:herzlcenter@fsv.cuni.cz"] .

             
            The scholarship will be granted on the condition that the stay in Israel will take place b
            calendar year 2025.
